the 31 days of art actually helped me! thanks sitji! [link]

i think it just taught me a couple things about my art: how rushed i am, or on days i don't have any motivation / or just time. but some profound life decisions will change this:

1. i quit my job at starbucks, not only because i can't do their 16 hrs minimum next year, but i realize each hour i spend there i never get back and i need to improve on art...which is my passion and frustrates me each time i see people getting better when i'm pushing buttons for eight hours a day.

2. i moved into a studio with sitji and ipik.

i have no excuse not to get better. after the 31 days of art, i'm going to take a long hiatus from deviantart. . . because when i come back, i wanna be better. and i don't want to keep making art for the interwebs. it makes you want to finish faster rather than take it slow and go back and add more to your picture.
